하나님께서는 하나님을 의지한다고 자랑스럽게 말하고하나님의 이름으로 맹세하고 하나님을 섬긴다고 말하면서 진리와 의로 하지 않는 우리를 향하여 분노를 억제하시고 우리를 고난의 불로 연단하시므로 우리의 유익을 위해 가르치시고 또한 우리를 바른 길로 인도하십니다(이사야 48:1, 2, 9, 10, 17, 현대인의 성경).
