주님, 우리를 우리의 원수들의 뜻에 맡기지 마소서. 우리의 원수들은 우리에 대하여 우리가 어느 때에나 죽고 우리의 이름이 언제나 없어질까 하고 악담을 합니다. 그들은 겉으로는 우리에게 다정한 척 하면서도 속으로는 비방하는 말을 꾸며 나가서는 그것을 퍼뜨리고 다닙니다. 그들은 우리를 미워하여 우리에 대해서 서로 수군거리고 우리를 해할 악한 계획을 세웁니다. 심지어 우리가 신뢰하여 우리의 떡을 나눠 먹던 우리의 가까운 친구도 우리를 대적합니다. 주님, 우리를 불쌍히 여기시고 우리에게 은혜를 베푸시사 그들을 보응해 주소서. 주님께서 우리를 기뻐하시는 줄 아오니 우리의 원수들로 하여금 우리를 이기지 못하게 하소서. 주님, 우리를 온전한 중에 붙드시고 영원히 주님 앞에 세우소서.
