우리로 하여금 에워싸여 있게 만드는 사탄?
사탄은 우리로 하여금 "에워싸여 있"게 만듭니다(대하 32:10). 그리고 사탄은 우리가 그 에워싸여 있을 때에 주님의 종을 통하여 들은 말씀인 '우리 하나님께서 우리를 그 에워싸임에서 건져주실 것입니다'라고 믿는 것을 가리켜 주님의 종이 우리를 "꾀어" 말한 것이라고 말합니다(11절). 그래서 사탄은 우리에게 주님의 종에게 "속지 말라 꾀임을 받지 말라 그를 믿지도 말라"고 말합니다(15절). 사탄은 우리가 모든 우상들을 제거하고 "다만" 주님만을 섬기고 예배하는 것을 싫어하지요. 사탄은 우리에게 그 에워싸여 있는 힘든 위기 상황에서 "능히" 주님도 못건지신다고 말하고 있습니다: "너희 하나님이 능히 너희를 내 손에서 건지겠느냐"(14, 15절; 참고: 17절).
