주님의 우리의 선한 목자이십니다.
주님은 우리 선한 목자이십니다(시23:1; 요10:11, 14). 선한 목자이신 주 예수 그리스도께서 양들인 우리를 위하여 십자가에 목숨을 버리시므로 우리가 풍성한 영생을 얻게 되었기에(요10:10-11, 15, 17) 우리에게는 부족함이 없습니다(시23:1). 선한 목자이신 주님께서 우리를 평탄한 길로 인도하심과 주님의 공급하심과 소생케 하심이 범죄한 우리를 회개케 하여 진정한 생명을 받게 하심과 함께하심과 보호하심과 안위하심과 우리로 하여금 영적 싸움에 승리케 하시사 우리 원수 앞에서 높이심과 우리를 귀빈처럼 대우하심, 우리는 하나님의 사랑과 도우심으로 인해 우리의 잔이 넘칩니다(2-5절, 박윤선).
우리의 평생에 선한 목자이신 주님의 선하심과 주님의 인자하심이 우리를 따를 것이기에 우리는 확실한 소망인 주님의 집에 영원히 살 것입니다(6절). 그러므로 우리는 이렇게 신앙 고백을 할 수 밖에 없습니다: "여호와는 나의 목자시니 내게 부족함이 없으리로다"(1절).
