"내 조상의 유산을 왕에게 주"는 것을 "여호와께서 금하"시기에 아무리 아합 왕이 왕궁에서 가까운 나봇의 포도원을 얻고자 그 포도원보다 "더 아름다운 포도원"을 준다 할지라도, 또는 그 포도원의 값을 돈으로 준다 할지라도 나는 "내 조상의 유산을 왕께 줄 수 없"습니다(왕상 21:1-4).
나봇처럼 하나님께서 금하시는 것이면 지위가 높든 권력이 엄청나게 쎄든 어떠한 사람이라도 그 금하시는 것을 하게 만들고자 할 때 하나님께 순종하므로 그 사람에게 단호하게 거절을 할 수 있어야 하는데 ...
