교회 공동체를 공격하는 사탄?
사탄은 교회 안에 남겨진 "허물어진 틈"을 노려 그 틈으로 우리 공동체를 공격해 옵니다. 그 공격의 목적은 주님께서 주님의 교회를 견고히 세우시는 "역사를 중지하게 하"는 것입니다. 그것도 한 두세 "네 번" 공격하고 끝나는 것 같지 않습니다. 사탄은 수 없이 지금 우리 공동체를 공격하고 있습니다. 사탄은 거짓되 "소문"을 교회 안에 퍼트리게 만들어서라도 교회를 공격하고 있습니다. 사탄은 "사실이" 아닌 "말", 즉 "마음에서 지어낸 것"["모두 지어낸 이야기"(현대인의 성경)]으로 교회 공동체의 통일성을 깨려고 하고 있습니다. 그 사탄의 목적은 우리를 "두렵게 하고" 우리의 "손이 피곤하여 역사를 중지하고 이루지 못하"게 하는 것입니다. 그 때 우리는 하나님께 기도합니다: "이제 내(우리) 손을 힘입게 하옵소서." (느헤미야 6:1-9)
