Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 두 전쟁에 유사한 점들
여호수아 8장에 나오는 이스라엘 백성들이 아이 성 사람들과의 전쟁에서 마침내 승리한 이야기와 사사기 20장에 나오는 이스라엘 자손들이 자기들 동족인 베냐민 자손과의 전쟁에서 마침내 승리한 이야기의 비슷한 점들이 있습니다:
(1) 이스라엘 백성들은 매복을 했습니다(수8:4; 삿20:9, 36).
(2) 이스라엘 백성들은 (거짓으로) 패하는 척했습니다(수8:15; 삿 20:31).
(3) 아이 성 사람들이나 베냐민 자손들은 이스라엘의 유인 (작전) 또는 꾀임에 넘어갑니다(수 8:6, 16; 삿 20:32).
