Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 신앙 생활을 한다는 것이란 무엇일까?  혹시 예수님처럼 "나는 나의 뜻대로 하려 하지 않고 나를 보내신 이의 뜻대로 하려 " 것이 아닐까?(5:30)  예수님의 기도를 배우고 실천하는 생활을 하고 싶다"아버지여 만일 아버지의 뜻이거든  잔을 내게서 옮기시옵소서 그러나 원대로 마시옵고 아버지의 원대로 되기를 원하나이다"( 22:42).
