Devotional Reflection Based on the Incident of Peter Cutting Off Malchus's Ear: “Then one of those standing near drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.” ( Mark 14:47, Today's Korean Version ) 1. Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 하나님은 사람이 아니 시기에 거짓말을 하지 않으시고 인생이 아니시니 후회가 없으십니다.  하나님께서는 말씀하신 바를 반드시 행하십니다.  반드시 실행하시는 하나님의 말씀이란 우리를 축복하시는 것입니다.  하나님의 축복은 우리의 허물을 보지 아니하시는 것입니다.  하나님의 축복은 우리와 함께 계시는 것입니다.  하나님의 축복을 우리를 사탄의 왕국에서 인도하여 내신 것입니다.  하나님의 축복은 우리에게 구원의 일을 행하신 것입니다(민수기 23:19-23).
