A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. 하나님은 우리의 형통(성공, 번창, 행복) 기뻐하시는 위대하신 하나님이심을 믿음으로 기도하자(시편 35:27).  하나님께서 우리와 함께하심이 형통의 비결임을 믿고(창세기 39:2, 3, 23) 임마누엘 믿음으로 하나님께 기도하자.  하나님께서 우리를 형통케 하시는 과정에서 우리의 이성으로는 이해할 없는 역경과 고통이 있을지라도 모든 일들을 통해서도 합력하여 마침내 우리를 낮은 자리에서 높이시사 우리의 형통의 목적을 이루실 것임을 믿고 기도하자(창세기 39-41; 45:5, 7; 로마서 8:28).
