과거의 주님의 일을 기억하라!
다윗은 압살롬을 피하여 유다 광야로 도망가고 있었을 때 밤중에 주님께서 과거에 자기에게 행하셨던 일을 기억했습니다(시 63:6). 그 일은 바로 사울 왕에게 피하여 도망을 다녔을 때 하나님께서 다윗을 사울 왕의 손에서 건져주신 하나님의 구원의 일입니다. 그리했을 때. 다윗은 과거의 위기에서도 건져주신 구원의 하나님께서 현재의 위기에서도 건져주실 줄 믿게 됩니다. 그 뿐만 아니라 앞으로도 하나님께서 우리가 어떠한 위기를 당한다 할찌라도 우리를 건져주실 것이라는 확신을 갖게 됩니다. 그 이유는 우리 하나님은 어제나 오늘이나 영원토록 동일하신 주님이시기 때문입니다(히 13:8). 이것이 바로 과거에 하나님께서 베풀어 주신 구원의 일을 현재에 기억하며 기념하는 것입니다.
