아론은 이스라엘 백성들을 방자하게 하여 "원수에게 조롱거리가 되게 하였"습니다(32:25).

다윗은 밧세바를 범하고 그녀의 남편인 우리아를 죽이므로 "여호와의 원수가 크게 비방할 거리를 얻게" 했습니다(삼하 12:14).
