God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! 주님께서 잠든 자를 깨우사 다시 일으키실 것입니다!
야이로라는 회당장은 예수님의 발앞에 엎드려 "제 어린 딸이 죽어갑니다. ..."라고 말했고, 회당장의 집에서 온 사람들은 야이로에게 "따님이 죽었습니다"라고 말했는데, 예수님께서는 "그 아이는 죽은 것이 아니라 자고 있다"고 말씀하셨습니다. 사람들이 보기엔 분명히 죽은 것인데도 불구하고 예수님이 보시기엔 자고 있는 것이었습니다. 성도의 죽음은 자는 것입니다. 주님께서 잠든 자를 깨우사 다시 일으키실 것입니다(마가복음 5:23, 35, 39; 요한복음 11:11, 13; 데살로니가전서 4:13, 16, 현대인의 성경).
