Devotional Reflection Based on the Incident of Peter Cutting Off Malchus's Ear: “Then one of those standing near drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.” ( Mark 14:47, Today's Korean Version ) 1. Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 나를 제일 사랑하시는 하나님께서 지금 나에게 제일 좋은 것으로 주시지 않으시겠나요? 




전지하시고 나를 만드신 창조주 하나님은 나를 제일 아십니다(139:1-4).  편재하신 임마누엘 하나님은 나와 항상 함께 하십니다(7-8; 1:23).  독생자 예수님까지 십자가에 내어주신 하나님은 나를 제일 사랑하십니다(139:17-18; 3:16; 8:32).  지금 하나님이 나에게 제일 좋은 것으로 주시지 않으시겠습니까?
