A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. 하나님 보시기에 악을 행하므로 환난을 당하여서라도 하나님께 간구하고 하나님 앞에 크게 겸손하여 기도하므로 하나님께서 그 기도를 들으시고 다시 회복시켜주시므로 말미암아 "그제서야 여호와께서 하나님이신 줄을 알"게 되는 것도 큰 은혜이지요(대하33:2, 12-13).  그 이유는 "그제서야"래도 여호와께서 하나님이신 줄을 모르는 것이 우리의 본능이기 때문입니다.
