기본적인 것이라도 행해야 할텐데 ...
이상적인 그리스도인은 주님을 사랑함에 있어서 현실을 뛰어 넘어 순수하고 진실된 사랑을 하고자 하는 것 같습니다. 현실적인 그리스도인은 주님을 사랑함에 있어서 이상을 추구하는 것을 포기하고 지혜롭고 실천적인 사랑을 하고자 하는 것 같습니다. 주님을 사랑함에 있어서 이상과 현실 사이에서 균형을 찾는 것이 중요한 것 같습니다. 지나친 이상적인 사랑이나 지나친 현실적인 사랑은 이웃이게 덕이 되지 않을 수도 있는 것 같습니다. 그보다 더 중요하다고 여겨지는 것은 이상적이던 현실적이든 우리가 주님을 사랑함에 있어서 적어도 그리스도인으로서 기본적인 것을 지켜 나아가야 한다는 것입니다. 우리가 그리스도인으로서 기본적인 것도 행하지 못하면서 주님을 사랑한다고 말하는 것이 이상히 여겨지는 오늘입니다.
