지혜로운 사람은 살아 있을 모두 죽을 밖에 없다는 사실을 명심하고 결혼식 보다 장례식에 가서  슬픔으로 인해 새로운 것을 깨닫고 죽음에 대해서 많이 생각하지만 어리석은 사람은  앞에 보이는 즐거움밖에 생각하지 못합니다(전도서 7:1-4, 현대인의 성경).
