잔잔케 하시는 주님




갑자기 큰 폭풍이 휘몰아쳐서 타고 있던 배가 침몰하게 되었는데도 불구하고 잠이 드셨던 예수님은 제자들이 깨웠을 때 일어나셔서 바람과 성난 파도를 꾸짖자 폭풍이 그치고 물결이 잔잔해졌습니다. 우리 인생이 큰 폭풍같은 역경이 휘몰아쳐서 큰 위기를 접한다 할지라도 주님을 잠잠히 신뢰하므로 힘을 얻어 주님께서 그 큰 폭풍같은 역경을 어떻게 잔잔케 하시므로 우리를 큰 위기에서 건지실지 기도하며 기대하며 기다립니다(이사야 30:15; 누가복음 8:23-24, 현대인의 성경).
