God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! 요한복음과 요한일서의 흥미로운 유사점
흥미로운 점:
사도 요한은 요한일서 편지를 쓰기 시작하면서 요한일서 1장 1절과 2절에서 참 하나님이신 예수 그리스도에 대해서 말씀하면서 예수님을 “태초부터 있는 생명의 말씀”(1절)이요 “이 영원한 생명”(2절)이라고 말씀을 했는데, 요한일서 편지 쓰기를 마치면서 5장 20절 하반절에서 참 하나님이신 예수 그리스도는 “영원한 생명이십니다”라고 말씀했습니다. 동일한 저자인 사도 요한이 쓴 요한복음도 보면 요한복음 1장 1절에서 “태초에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시라”고 시작했는데 요한복음의 결론이라는 20장 31절을 보면 “오직 이것을 기록함은 너희로 예수께서 하나님의 아들 그리스도이심을 믿게 하려 함이요 또 너희로 믿고 그 이름을 힘입어 생명(영원한 생명)을 얻게 하려 함이니라”고 말씀했습니다. 이 두 책인 요한복음과 요한일서를 보면 사도 요한은 참 하나님이신 예수 그리스도로 시작을 해서 그 예수 그리스도를 믿음으로 영원한 생명을 얻게 하려는 목적을 가지고 요한복음과 요한일서를 썼다는 생각이 듭니다.
