A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. 배우자의 말을 듣지 말아야 할 때와 들어야 할 때?



아브라함은 그의 아내 사래가 자녀를 얻고자 자기의 여종인 하갈에게 들어가라로 말했을 때 그녀의 말을 듣지 말았어야 했습니다(창16:2).  오히려 그는 하나님께서 하신 약속인 "네 몸에서 날 자가 네 상속자가 되리라"는 말씀(15:4)을 믿음으로 이삭을 낳을 때까지 더 기다려야 했습니다(21:2-3).  그런데 흥미로운 점은 사래가 이삭을 낳고 그 이삭이 자랄 때에 하갈의 아들 이스마엘이 이삭을 놀리는 것을 보고 아브라함에게 하갈과 이스마엘을 내쫓으라고 말했을 때 하나님께서는 아브라함에게 "사라가 네게 이른 말을 다 들으라"고 말씀하셨다는 것입니다.  하나님께서 아브라함에게 그리 말씀하신 이유는 "이삭에게서 나는 자라야 네 씨라 부를 것"이기 때문이었습니다(8-12절).
