사망 vs. 영생
한 사람 아담으로 말미암아 죄가 세상에 들어왔고 죄로 말미암아 사망이 들어왔습니다(롬 5:12). 죄의 삯은 "사망"입니다(6:23). 여기서 "사망"이란 (1) 하나님으로부터 분리가 된 '영적인 죽음', (2) 몸과 영혼이 분리가 될 '육체적인 죽음', (3) 하나님과 영원하고 완전하게 분리되어 영원한 사망에 처하게 되는 '영원한 죽음'을 말합니다. 그러나 한 사람 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 우리가 의롭다 하심을 받아 영원한 생명을 누리게 되었습니다(18절, 현대인의 성경; 6:23).
