하나님께 대하여 열심이 있는 것은 좋지만 그 열심이 올바른 지식에서 나오지 않았을 뿐만 아니라 올바른 지식으로 절제가 되지 않은 열심이라면 그러한 열심으로 주님의 교회를 섬길 때에는 교회에 문제를 일으켜 교회의 연합성을 깰 위험이 많습니다(로마서 10:2; 12:11; 빌립보서 3:6).
