믿음이 없이는 성경 말씀을 깨달을 수가 없습니다.
막달라 마리아는 예수님의 빈무덤을 막았던 돌이 옮겨져 있는 것만 보았고, 예수님이 사랑하시던 제자는 세마포 놓인 것만
보았으나, 사도 베드로는 직접 무덤에 들어가 놓인 세마포와 예수님의 머리에 쌌던 수건을 보았습니다. 그 때에야 그 빈무덤에 먼저 도착했던 그 다른 제자도 빈무덤에
들어가 보고 믿었습니다. 그러나 그들은
아직도 예수님이 죽었다가 다시 살아나야 한다는 성경 말씀을 깨닫지 못했습니다(요한복음
20:1-9, 현대인의 성경). 예수님의 빈무덤은 직접 눈으로 보고 믿긴했지만, 마음으로는 예수님의 부활에 관한 성경 말씀을
깨닫지도 못했습니다. 육신의 눈으로
모든 증거와 기적 등을 본다 할지라도 믿음이 없이는 성경 말씀을 깨달을 수가 없습니다.
