God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 하나님 앞에서 행해야 합니다.
남편 다윗 왕은 하나님께서 자기를 이스라엘의 주권자로 삼으셨으므로 하나님 앞에서 뛰놀며 춤을 췄습니다. 그런데 그의 아내 미갈은 그 남편의 모습을 보고 심중에 다윗을 업신여기고 "이스라엘 왕이 오늘 어떻게 영화로우신지 방탕한 자가 염치 없이 자기의 몸을 드러내는 것처럼 오늘 그의 신복의 계집종의 눈앞에서 몸을 드러내셨도다"라고 말했습니다.
하나님 앞에서 더 낮아지고 스스로 천하게 보일지라도 하나님 앞에서 행해야 합니다. 아무리 가까운 사랑하는 사람이 우리를 심중에 없신여기고 방탕한 자로 보고 염치 없는 사람으로 볼지라도 말입니다(삼하 6:16-22).
