For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. ( 죄가 회개되지 않고 씻겨지지 않을 때마다 그 죄는 증가하며 또한 그 죄의 전염병은 더 널리 퍼집니다 .) ------ 마치 우리 몸 안에 존재하고 있는 암 세포가 온 몸에 퍼지듯이 지금 우리 교회 안에 존재하고 있는 죄악들이 온 교회에 퍼지고 있는 것은 아니지 ... 혹시 지금 우리는 교회 안에 퍼지고 있는 그 죄악들이 아직은 우리 생각엔 교회에 치명적이다 여겨지지 않기에 아무 적절한 행동을 취하지 않고 그냥 그 죄악들을 용인 ( 묵인 ) 하고 있는 것은 아닌지 ...
