For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. 갈라서게 하시는 방법? 아브람과 그의 조카 롯에게 소유가 너무 많아서 함께 살기에는 " 그 땅 "( 벧엘과 아이 사이에 있는 땅 ) 의 목초지가 부족하여 결국 롯이 그 땅을 떠나 동쪽인 소돔과 고모라로 떠나므로 서로 갈라서게 되었는데 ( 창세기 13:6-11, 현대인의 성경 ) 야곱과 에서도 소유가 너무 많아 그들의 짐승을 함께 기르기에는 " 그 땅 "( 가나안 땅 ) 이 부족하여 결국 에서가 그 땅을 떠나 세일의 산간 지역에서 살게 되므로 서로 갈라서게 되었습니다 (36:6-8, 현대인의 성경 ). 이 사실을 묵상할 때 하나님께서는 형제이든 친척이든 그들의 소유가 너무 많게 하시므로로 서로 갈라서게 하신다는 생각이 듭니다 . 즉 , 하나님은 물질의 축복을 베풀어주셔서도 서로 갈라서게 하신다는 생각입니다 .
