왜 방향을 돌려 광야로 인도하시는 것일까요? 우리보다 먼저 가시는 우리의 하나님께서는 우리를 위하여 모든 일을 행하시되 사람이 자기 아들을 안는 것 같이 우리 하나님께서 우리가 걸어온 길에서 우리를 안으사 여기까지 인도하셨습니다 . 그런데 우리는 이일에 우리 하나님을 믿지 아니했습니다 . 그러므로 하나님께서는 우리로 하여금 방향을 돌려 다른 길을 따라 광야로 인도하고 계십니다 ( 신명기 1:30-40). 왜 하나님은 뱡향을 돌리사 우리로 하여금 광야로 인도하시는 것일까요 ? 혹시 우리의 불신앙을 단련시키려고 ? 혹시 우리 안에 있는 모든 불순물들을 정화시키려고 ? 혹시 우리로 하여금 겸손케 하시사 하나님의 말씀에 순종케 하시려고 그리 인도하시는 것이 아닐까요 ?
