We are taught that we must become upright people who, in God’s sight, are blameless and fully keep His commandments. “In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly” [(Modern Translation: “When Herod was king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the division of Abijah, and his wife Elizabeth also came from the family of Aaron. They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6). 유익을 주는 아볼로 [ 사도행전 18 장 27 절 말씀 묵상 ] 미주 복음신문 을 보닌까 이광복 목사님이란 분이 “ 목자와 성도 ”란 제목 아래 이런 내용의 글을 쓰셔서 나눕니다 : “ 동물학자의 실험 결과에 의하면 쥐는 고양이 소리만 들어도 도망하는 것을 포기해 버립니다 . 살짝만 비켜 나오면 살 수있는데도 고양이 소리에 질려서 그 자리에서 벌벌 떨고 있다는 것입니다 . 이런 관계가 바로 천적관계입니다 . … 양도 마찬가지입니다 . 이리만 나타나면 도망도 포기하고 , 모든 것을 포기한 채 이리에게 생명을 빼앗기고 마는 것입니다 . 그래서 양은 혼자 못사는 동물입니다 . 그래서 누군가 같이 있어야 합니다 . ” 모든 동물은 자기를 보호하는 수단이 있는데 유일하게 양은 그런 공격적인 능력도 없고 방어적인 수단도 없다는 것 입니다 . 그리고 더 나아가서 양은 느리 기에 도망 가봐야 이리의 밥이 되고 만다는 것 입니다 . 여기서 “ 양 ” 은 성도인데 “ 이리 ” 는 누구 입니까 ? 바로 거짓 선지자들 입니다 . 이 기사를 읽으면서 느낀 점은 양은 누군가 같이 있어야 한다는 점 입니다 . 양은 누군가가 도움을 주지 않으면 안된다는 것 입니다 . 물론 교회를 생각할 때 성도님들은 목사가 도움을 주지 않으면 안된다는 말로도 적용을 해 볼수 있을 것 입니다 . 한 마디로 말하면 오늘 본문 말씀에 제 자신을 비춰볼 때 저 는 저희 교회 식구들 에게 “...
