“ True Believers Like Wheat ” and “ The Wicked Like Chaff ” “John answered them all, ‘I baptize you with water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire’” (Luke 3:16–17). Let us meditate on this passage and receive its spiritual lessons: (1) When the people, who had long awaited the coming of the Messiah, began to wonder in their hearts whether John the Baptist might be the Messiah (Luke 3:15, Modern Translation ), John testified clearly that he was not the Messiah, but that the One coming after him was. 인생의 쓴 맛을 본 여인에게 즐거움을 주시는 하나님 “너희가 어찌 그들이 자라기를 기다리겠으며 어찌 남편 없이 지내겠다고 결심하겠느냐 내 딸들아 그렇지 아니하니라 여호와의 손이 나를 치셨으므로 나는 너희로 말미암아 더욱 마음이 아프도다 하매 … 내가 풍족하게 나갔더니 여호와께서 내게 비어 돌아오게 하셨느니라 여호와께서 나를 징벌하셨고 전능자가 나를 괴롭게 하셨거늘 너희가 어찌 나를 나오미라 부르느냐 하니라” ( 룻기 1 장 13, 21 절 ). 인생의 쓴 맛을 본 여인들이 있습니다 . 어릴 때 자라나면서 ( 특히 사춘기 때 ) 아버지에게 크고 깊은 상처를 입은 여인들이 있습니다 . 그 상처들로 인해 받은 아픔과 고통으로 말미암아 성인이 되어서도 그 상처와 고통에서 온전히 자유를 누리지 못하고 있는 여인들이 있습니다 . 심지어 아버지와 관계를 끊고 사는 여인들도 있습니다 . 또 어떤 여인들은 그리도 사랑하는 남편과 원치않는 이별로 인해 슬픔과 고통 중에 있는 여인들도 있습니다 . 심지어 어떤 여인들은 사랑하는 남편의 죽음으로 인해 큰 슬픔과 통곡 속에서 마음 아파하는 여인들도 있습니다 . 그런데 그녀들 중에는 사랑하는 남편 뿐만 아니라 사랑하는 자녀의 죽음으로 인해 극심한 괴로움과 아픔과 큰 슬픔 속에서 고통 중에 있는 여인들도 있습니다 . 참으로 인생의 쓴 맛을 본 여인들이 아닐 수 없습니다 . ...
