Devotional Reflection Based on the Incident of Peter Cutting Off Malchus's Ear: “Then one of those standing near drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.” ( Mark 14:47, Today's Korean Version ) 1. Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 버리시는 사랑을 배우고 싶습니다. 독생하신 예수 그리스도를  십자가에 버리시기까지 우리를 사랑하시는  하나님 아버지의 마음 , 십자가 상에서  ' 하나님이여 , 하나님이여 어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까 ' 라고 부르짖으시면서  하나님 아버지께 버리심을 받으실 정도로 우리를 사랑하시는  예수 그리스도의 마음 , 내주하시는 성령 하나님께서 저 ( 우리 ) 로 하여금  성부 하나님의 마음과 성자 예수님의 마음을  조금씩 조금씩 깨달아 알게 하시사  주님의 마음을 본받게 해주시길 기원합니다 .
