너와 네 자손에게 주어 네가 살고 있는 땅, 곧 하나님이 아브라함에게 주신 이 땅을 네가 소유할 수 있기를
바란다"라고 축복했는데(창세기 28:3-4, 현대인의 성경) 그 축복대로 전능하신 하나님은 야곱을 축복하셔서 그의 자손을 번성케 하셨고,
그로 12지파의 조상이요 이스라엘의 조상이 되게하셨으며, 아브라함에게 약속하신 복을 야곱과 그의 자손에게 주어 아브라함에게 주신 가나안 땅을 야곱과 그의 후손으로 하여금 소유하게 하셨습니다. 전능하신 하나님은 우리도 축복하셔서 우리의 자손을 번성케
하시고 우리를 아브라함처럼 믿음의 조상이 되게하시며 우리의 믿음의 선조에게 약속하신 복을 우리와 우리의 후손에게 주셔서 우리로 하여금 그 축복을
