We are taught that we must become upright people who, in God’s sight, are blameless and fully keep His commandments. “In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly” [(Modern Translation: “When Herod was king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the division of Abijah, and his wife Elizabeth also came from the family of Aaron. They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6). 비록 교만한 말과 하나님을 모독하는 말을 하면서 그분의 이름과 성막과 하늘에 사는 자들을 비방한다 할지라도 죽임을 당하신
어린 양의 생명책에 이름이 기록된 성도들은 믿음으로 인내해야 합니다(요한계시록 13:5-6, 8, 10, 현대인의 성경).
"이런 때일수록 지혜가 필요합니다"(요한계시록 13:18, 현대인의 성경).
시온 산에 계시는 어린 양과 함께 서 있는 성도들은 자신을 더럽히지 않고 순결을 지킨 사람들로서 어린 양이 어디로 가든지
따라가는 자들입니다.
그들은 거짓말을 하지 않고 흠이 없는 자들입니다(요한계시록
14:1-5, 현대인의 성경).
모든 나라와 종족과 언어를 초월하여 세계 모든 민족에게 영원한 복음을 가지고 전하는 성도들은 하나님을 두려워하고 하나님에게만
영광을 돌리며 하나님에게만 경배해야 합니다(요한계시록
14:6-7, 현대인의 성경).
하나님의 계명을 지키며 예수님을 충실히 믿는 성도들은 이런 때 인내가 필요합니다(요한계시록 14:12, 현대인의 성경).
주님을 믿고 죽는 사람들은 행복합니다. 그들은 괴로운 수고에서 벗어나 쉬게 될 것이며 그들의 행한
일이 그들에게 따라다니기 때문입니다(요한계시록 14:13, 현대인의
