은혜를 베푸시는 하나님을 전적으로 믿고 있나요?
형 에서가 길을 안내하겠다고 해도 거절하고 또한 그가 자기 종 몇
사람을 야곱과 함께 머물게 하여 야곱을 돕도록 하겠다고 해서 "형님, 그러실 필요는 없습니다. 형님의 호의만으로도 족합니다"라고 말한 야곱은 비록 형 에서가 자기를 따뜻하게 반겨
줬지만 왠지 그는 아직도 형 에서를 두려워했던 것 같습니다(창세기 33:10-15, 현대인의 성경). 과연
베풀어 주신 하나님의 은혜를 알고 있었던 야곱은 은혜를 베푸시는 하나님을 전적으로 믿었던 것일까요? 과연 구원의 은혜를 받은 우리는 만일 우리가 우리 죄를 고백하면
신실하시고 의로우신 하나님께서 우리를 따뜻하게 반겨 주시고 우리 죄를 용서하시며 모든 죄악에서 우리를 깨끗하게 하실 것임을 믿고 있나요?
