은혜를 베푸시는 하나님을 전적으로 믿고 있나요? 형 에서가 길을 안내하겠다고 해도 거절하고 또한 그가 자기 종 몇 사람을 야곱과 함께 머물게 하여 야곱을 돕도록 하겠다고 해서 " 형님 , 그러실 필요는 없습니다 . 형님의 호의만으로도 족합니다 " 라고 말한 야곱은 비록 형 에서가 자기를 따뜻하게 반겨 줬지만 왠지 그는 아직도 형 에서를 두려워했던 것 같습니다 ( 창세기 33:10-15, 현대인의 성경 ). 과연 베풀어 주신 하나님의 은혜를 알고 있었던 야곱은 은혜를 베푸시는 하나님을 전적으로 믿었던 것일까요 ? 과연 구원의 은혜를 받은 우리는 만일 우리가 우리 죄를 고백하면 신실하시고 의로우신 하나님께서 우리를 따뜻하게 반겨 주시고 우리 죄를 용서하시며 모든 죄악에서 우리를 깨끗하게 하실 것임을 믿고 있나요 ?
