Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 좋은 것이지만 ... 아무 쓸모가 없습니다. 소금은 좋은 것이지만  만일 그 맛을 잃으면 아무 쓸모가 없는 것처럼 ,  예수님을 믿는 그리스도인이요  예수님의 제자가 되는 것은 좋은 것이지만  만일 우리가 맛을 잃은 그리스도인요 예수님의 제자라면  아무 쓸모가 없습니다 ( 누가복음 14:34-35, 현대인의 성경 ).
