책망을 은혜로 여기는 겸손함과 지혜로움 다윗은 난관 속에서도 의인의 책망을 거저할지 않았을 뿐만 아니라 그 책망을 은혜로 여겼습니다 ( 시 141:5). 어떻게 가능합니까 ? 사람의 본능은 난관을 만나 고통을 당하고 있을 때 위로 받기를 원할진데 ... 다윗에게는 겸손함과 지혜가 있었기 때문이라 생각합니다 . 겸손이라 함은 난관과 고통 , 역경을 통해서 다윗의 눈이 주님께 향하여 고정되어 기도하는 가운데 하나님 앞에서 자신의 마음을 스스로 낮추는 것을 말합니다 . 다윗의 지혜를 생각할 때 잠언 9 장 8 절이 생각납니다 : " 거만한 자를 책망하지 말라 그가 너를 미워할까 두려우니라 지혜 있는 자를 책망하라 그가 너를 사랑하리라 ."
