A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. 두려운 상황 [ 시편 27 편 1-6 절 말씀 묵상 ] 요즘 혹시 여러분들 중에 두려운 상황에 쳐해 있는 분들이 계신지요 ? 만일 계시다면 왜 두려워하고 계십니까 ? 주로 우리가 두려워하는 이유는 걱정 , 근심 , 불안으로 말미암아 두려움이 우리 마음속에 생기는 것 같습니다 . “ 두려움 ” 하면 생각나는 성경구절 중 하나는 이사야 41 장 10 절을 들 수가 있을 것입니다 : “ 두려워 말라 내가 너와 함께 함이니라 … .” 저는 개인적으로 “ 두려움 ” 하면 요한일서 4 장 18 절이 생각납니다 : “ 사랑 안에 두려움이 없고 온전한 사랑이 두려움을 내어 쫓나니 두려움에는 형벌이 있음이라 두려워하는 자는 사랑 안에서 온전히 이르지 못하였느니라 .” 분명히 성경은 사랑 안에 두려움이 없다고 말씀하고 있는데 왜 우리는 두려워하는 것일까요 ? 그 이유는 온전한 사랑이 결핍되 있기 때문입니다 . 성경은 “ 온전한 사랑이 두려움을 내어 쫓 ” 는다고 말씀하고 있는데도 불구하고 우리에게 두려움이 있다는 것은 하나님의 온전한 사랑이 우리 안에 온전케 되지 못했기 때문입니다 . “ 크리스천 비즈니스맨의 리더십 개발을 위한 편지 ”( 제 64 호 ) 를 보면 우리 안에 잠재된 무의식적인 두려움은 크게 4 가지로 삶을 황폐화시킬 수 있다고 말하고 있습니다 .
