유산, 재산, 권리, 책임? 유산을 물려받을 권리의 우선권이 있지만 그 권리에는 우리가 원치 않는 책임이 있을 수 있습니다 . 그런데 그 책임을 지게 되면 우리에게 손해를 보되 어쩌면 우리가 가지고 있는 재산만 축날 수 있기에 오히려 그 유산을 물려받을 권리를 포기할 수도 있습니다 ( 룻기 4:4-7, 현대인의 성경 ). 자신의 책임을 지지 않으려고 하면서 자신의 재산만을 지키려고 할 때에 어쩌면 하나님께서는 그 재산을 잃어버리게 하셔서라도 우리로 하여금 주님께 돌아오게 하실 수도 있는 것 같습니다 (1:21, 현대인의 성경 ).
