God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 외식하는 율법을 열심히 지키는 사람들의 눈에는 결코 용납할 수 없는 것들이 있습니다. 율법을 열심히 지키는 사람들에게 있어서는 사도 바울이 모세를 저버리고 , 할례를 행하지 말고 , 유대인의 관습도 따르지도 말라는 가르침은 결코 용납할 수 없는 것이었습니다 . 그러나 그것은 소문일 뿐이었습니다 ( 사도행전 21:20-21, 현대인의 성경 ). 바울은 모세를 저버리지 않았고 , 할례를 꼭 해야만 구원을 받는다는 가르침을 동의할 수 없었던 것이고 (15:1-2) 유대인의 관습을 따르지 말라고 가르치기보다 하나님의 계명을 버리고 사람의 전통을 지키는 것이 잘못되었다는 예수님의 가르침 ( 마가복음 7:8-9) 을 따랐을 뿐이었습니다 . 지금도 교회 안에서는 바리새인들과 같이 외식하는 율법을 열심히 지키는 사람들의 눈에는 결코 용납할 수 없는 것들이 있다고 생각하는 것 같습니다 . 특히 사실에 근거하지 않은 소문이나 복음의 진리를 모르는 무지함 속에서 예수 그리스도의 복음적인 가르침과 복음의 합당한 삶을 판단하고 비난하며 마음속으로 라도 정죄하는 것 같습니다 . 이러한 면이 만일 우리 안에 보인다면 우리를 회개해야 합니다 .
