Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 영원한 제사장이신 예수님  예수 그리스도는 영원한 생명의 능력으로 멜기세댁의 계열에 속한 영원한 제사장이 되셨습니다 .   예수님은 영원히 살아 계시므로 예수님의 제사장직도 영원합니다 ( 히브리서 7:16-17, 21, 24, 현대인의 성경 ).
