A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. 내 명철을 의지하지 말자, 마음을 다하여 하나님을 신뢰하자. 아마 1989 년도였던 것 같다 . 내가 처음으로 제자훈련이란 것을 어느 목사님에게 받으면서 그 때 잠언 3 장 5-6 절 말씀이 " 인도의 확신 " 구절이라는 것을 배웠다 : " 너는 마음을 다하여 여호와를 신뢰하고 네 명철을 의지하지 말라 너는 범사에 그를 인정하라 그리하면 네 길을 지도하시리라 ". 약 25 년이 지나서야 금년 초에 나는 그 인도의 확신 구절 말씀을 묵상하다가 내 마음을 다하여 하나님을 신뢰하는데 제일 큰 방해가 되는 것이 바로 내 자신의 명철을 의지하는 것이라는 사실을 깨닫게 되었다 . 하나님을 신뢰하는 것보다 내 명철을 의지하는게 내 본능인데 ... 그런데 그 본능을 뛰어 넘어 마음을 다하여 하나님을 신뢰하라고 성경은 말씀하고 있으니 이 말씀을 어떻게 순종할 수 있다 말인가 . 특히 나는 내 명철을 의지하는 습관 ( 본능 ) 대로 살아가면 살아갈 수록 내 자신 " 스스로 지혜롭게 여기 " 는 위험이 충분히 있다는 사실을 인정한다 (7 절 ). 나는 이 위험에 빠지고 싶지 않다 . 그 이유는 내가 내 자신을 스스로 지혜롭게 여기면 결코 나는 마음을 다하여 하나님을 신뢰하지도 않을 뿐만 아니라 할 수도 없는 지경까지 오게 될 것이기 때문이다 . 그러한 삶은 하나님을 경외하는 삶이 결코 아니요 악을 행하는 것이기 때문이다 (7 절 하반절 ). ...
