'저들의 조롱하는 말이 자기들에게 돌아가게 하소서' 사탄이 그의 종들인 산발랏과 도비야를 사용하여 하나님의 종인 느헤미야와 하나님의 사람들인 유다 사람들을 모욕하고 조롱하였을 때 느헤미야는 하나님께 기도했습니다 . 그 기도 내용 중에 느헤미야는 “ 저들의 조롱하는 말이 자기들에게 돌아가게 하시 ” 길 기도했다 ( 느헤미야 4:1-4, 현대인의 성경 ) 는 것을 묵상할 때 저는 우리도 주님의 교회를 세우는 일에 우리를 대적하는 자들이 우리를 비웃고 모욕하고 조롱할 때에 먼저 하나님을 찾아야지 ( 기도해야지 ) 그들에게 대꾸할 필요가 없다고 생각합니다 . 그리고 저는 우리가 기도할 때 느헤미야처럼 우리를 대적하는 자들의 조롱하는 말이 그들에게 돌아가게 해달라고 하나님께 기도할 때 하나님께서 우리의 기도를 하나님의 때에 하나님의 방법으로 응답해 주신다고 생각합니다 .
