A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. 부와 재물의 축복보다 더 중요한 것은 … “ 또한 어떤 사람에게든지 하나님이 재물과 부요를 그에게 주사 능히 누리게 하시며 제 몫을 받아 수고함으로 즐거워하게 하신 것은 하나님의 선물이라 ”( 전도서 5 장 19 절 ). 하나님께 부와 재물의 축복을 구하는 것이 잘못된 것인가요 ? 너무나 먹고 살기 힘든 세상에 가난에 찌들어서 살면서 하나님께 물질의 축복을 간구하는 것이 죄인가요 ? 과연 부와 재물이 많으면 행복하지 않은건가요 ? 과연 성경에서 말씀하고 있는 행복은 무엇일까요 ? “ 행복 ” 이란 단어를 생각하면 한 두 성경 구절이 생각납니다 . 제일 먼저 생각나는 말씀은 신명기 33 장 29 절 상반절입니다 : “ 이스라엘이여 , 너는 정말 행복한 자이다 . 너처럼 여호와의 구원을 받은 민족이 어디 있느냐 ? 그는 너의 방패와 칼이 되어 너를 지키고 너에게 승리를 주시는 분이시니 네 원수들이 네 앞에서 굴복할 것이며 네가 그들을 짓밟으리라 ”( 현대인의 성경 ). 이 말씀을 보면 성경에서 말씀하고 있는 행복이란 하나님께 구원 받은 것이요 , 하나님께서 지켜주시고 승리케 하시는 것입니다 . 이스라엘 백성들처럼 예수님을 믿는 우리가 행복한 자들인 이유는 우리는 하나님께 구원을 받았고 또한 하나님의 보호하심과 승리케 하심을 받고 있기 때문입니다 . 두 번째로 생각나는 말씀은 창세가 ...
