For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. Deep down, we’re dying to slow down and take a break. We keep telling ours...
만일 우리가 하나님의 경고의 말씀을 듣지 않고 우리가 보기에 좋은 대로 계속 행하면 ... 만일 우리가 하나님의 경고의 말씀을 듣지 않고 우리가 보기에 좋은 대로 계속 행하면 우리는 하나님의 사랑의 징계로 인한 재앙을 만나게 될 것입니다 . 그 때 우리는 하나님께서 우리에게 경고하신 말씀이 성취되었는지 알게 될 것입니다 . 그 이유는 하나님께서는 반드시 하나님의 말씀이 이루어질 증거를 우리에게 보여 주실 것이기 때문입니다 ( 참고 : 예레미야 44:28-29, 현대인의 성경 ).
