우리가 매우 힘들고 어려울 때 ... 우리가 매우 힘들고 어려울 때 우리가 생각하기에 우리에게 큰 도움이 될 만한 이웃에게 도움을 청한다 할지라도 어쩌면 그 이웃은 우리를 도와주지 않는 것이 아니라 도와주지 못할 수도 있습니다 . 그 이유는 하나님께서 그 이웃으로 하여금 우리를 돕지 못하도록 막으실 것이기 때문입니다 . 하나님께서 그리하시는 이유는 우리가 하나님께 한 맹세나 언약이나 약속을 깨뜨렸기 ( 배반했기 ) 때문입니다 ( 참고 : 에스겔 17:17-18, 현대인의 성경 ).
