A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. 예수님을 따르는 가정 우리 가정이 예수님을 따르기 위해선 (1) 주님의 음성만 들어야 합니다 ( 요 10:3-5). 예수님을 따르는 가정은 주님의 음성을 즉각적으로 알아챕니다 . 그리고 타인의 음성에 대하여서는 자기 목자의 음성이 아니라는 이질감을 직관적으로 느끼고 생명의 위협을 받아 즉시 도망칩니다 . (2) 자기를 부인해야 합니다 ( 막 8:34). 예수님을 따르는 가정은 모든 식구가 자기 자신을 도무지 알지 못하는 사람처럼 자기 자신과 상관없는 자로 계속해서 부인하는 삶을 사는 공동체입니다 . 먼저 가정의 가장인 남편이 아내 앞에서 자기 자신의 권리를 도무지 알지 못하는 자처럼 행합니다 . 억울함이나 자존심이 상하는 순간에 내 자아의 요구를 부인하고 , 그리스도께서 교회를 위해 죽기까지 자신을 부인하셨듯 배우자를 먼저 섬기는 자리로 내려갑니다 . 가정이 서로를 향해 소유권을 주장하지 않고 오직 하나님의 주권만 인정하는 가정이야말로 주님을 따르는 가정입니다 . (3) 자기 십자가를 져야합니다 (34 절 ). 예수님을 따르기 위해 우리의 명예와 평판을 다 버리고 , 매일 죽으러 가는 사형수처럼 예수님을 따라야 합니다 . (4) 가정의 공동 목적이 예수님과 복음을 위하여야 합니다 (35 절 ). 예수님을 따르는 가정은 " 나와 복음을 위하 여 자기 목숨을 잃으면 구원하리라 " 는 예수님의 말씀을 믿기에 , 주님 때문에 당하는 손해와 희생을 실패가 아닌 ' 영광스러운 십자가의 흔적 ' 으로 기쁘게 받아들입니다 .
