And as he was praying, heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: ‘You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.’” ( Luke 3:21–22 ) I would like to meditate on this passage and receive the grace God gives through it. (1) As I meditate on this passage, I notice that the baptism of Jesus is recorded not only here in Luke 3:21–22, but also in Matthew 3:13–17 and Mark 1:9–11 . So, I compared these passages, focusing mainly on Luke 3:21–22.
