“주님, 그럴 수 없습니다. 이런 일이 결코 일어나서는 안 됩니다.” 예수님께서 많은 고난을 받으시고 죽임을 당했다가 3 일만에 다시 살아나야 하시는 것은 하나님의 일입니다 . 그러나 사람의 일을 생각했던 사도 베드로는 “ 주님 , 그럴 수 없습니다 . 이런 일이 결코 일어나서는 안 됩니다 ” 하고 예수님을 말렸습니다 . 그래서 예수님께서는 베드로를 보시고 이렇게 꾸짖으셨습니다 : “ 사탄아 , 썩 물러가거라 ! 너는 나를 넘어지게 하는 자이다 . 네가 하나님의 일을 생각지 않고 사람의 일을 생각하고 있다 ”( 마태복음 16:21-23, 현대인의 성경 ). 사탄은 우리로 하여금 자꾸만 사람의 일을 생각하게 만들고 있습니다 . 사탄은 우리로 하여금 우리가 사랑하는 식구나 사람이 예수님과 복음을 위하여 고난을 당하고 죽음의 위협까지 당하는 것을 원치 않게 만드므로 “ 이런 일이 결코 일어나서는 안 됩니다 ” 하고 그 식구나 그 사람을 말리게 만들고 있습니다 .
