Assurance of salvation "... Salvation is from the LORD "(Jonah 2:9). Do you have assurance of salvation? When we think about ‘assurance of salvation’, we tend to think about our conviction that we will go to heaven after we die. Of course, this conviction is based on believing in Jesus Christ. In other words, the basis of our assurance of salvation is faith in Jesus Christ who died on the cross for forgiveness of our sins and the resurrected from the dead for our righteousness (Rom. 4:25). Besides the conviction of this salvation, another assurance or deliverance of salvation that we must have is the assurance that God will save (or deliver) us from the circumstances of our sufferings.
