For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. Deep down, we’re dying to slow down and take a break. We keep telling ours...
내 주제 파악을 잘 해야 할텐데 ... 나는 내 기준으로 다른 사람을 판단하고 심지어 비판하면서도 내 자신이 지금 그 기준대로 행하고 있지 못하다는 사실을 전혀 인식하지 못하고 있다 . 그 원인이 무엇일까 ? 어쩌면 그 원인은 나는 하나님의 절대 기준에 내 자신을 겸손히 그리고 부지런히 살펴보지 않고 있기 때문이다 . 그 결과 나는 교만하기에 내 주제를 모르고 다른 사람을 내 기준으로 판단하고 비판하고 있는 것이다 ( 참고 : 로마서 2:1).
